Summary
Algol, also known as Perseus, is a Silver Saint originating from Saudi Arabia. He stands at 188cm tall, weighs 83kg, and has type A blood. Born on November 11, he is 17 years old. Algol was dispatched to annihilate the Colosseum hosting the Galaxian Wars tournament and to abduct Saori Kido. Following the death of Crow Jamian at the hands of Phoenix Ikki, Algol, along with Capella and Dante, made his presence known. The Phoenix Saint cautioned the other Bronze Saints that Algol possessed a unique and dangerous nature. True to this warning, Algol utilized the Shield of Medusa, a device capable of petrifying opponents through its gaze, to turn Andromeda Shun into stone. He subsequently engaged in combat with Dragon Shiryū. The Dragon Saint managed to outsmart Algol by blinding him with his own fingers, preventing Algol from seeing the Medusa Shield. This sacrifice was made as a last resort to halt Algol and protect the lives of the other Bronze Saints. After a prolonged battle, Algol prepared to launch a final attack but was ultimately defeated by Shiryū. Despite his blindness, Shiryū heightened his Cosmo to perceive beyond his lack of sight, securing his victory over the Silver Saint.
