Sawamura, Ryouta
Summary
At first, Ryouta behaves as a bully toward Komori during their elementary school years. Goro and Shimizu intervene to protect her, and Ryouta eventually relents after Goro strikes him for attempting to cast his baseball glove into the river. Recognizing that he lacks genuine friends, Ryouta approaches Goro and asks to join their group for baseball. Although he initially plays soccer, he switches to baseball specifically so he can participate in the little league alongside Goro and the others.
