Summary
Riyou served as the mistress of Fu-ou, a former ruler of Sai, before they met. Prior to this relationship, she worked as a prostitute. Fu-ou elevated her status to that of a sage and appointed her as the mistress of the Suibi Grotto, her residence. Following Fu-ou’s death, the successor to the Sai-ou throne permitted her to keep her rank and assets. She possesses a cruel temperament. Riyou granted Suzu the title of sage on the condition that Suzu serve her. Throughout their time together, Riyou treated all her servants with unkindness, but she took particular delight in abusing Suzu, provided that Suzu never developed the willpower to resist.
