Ichinose, Kentarou
Summary
At the start of the narrative, Kentaro is depicted as a grade-school-aged nuisance, often caught in the act of trying to intercept his mother’s alcoholic beverages. His initial attitude toward Yusaku is hostile, but he eventually comes to view Yusaku as a decent person. Kentaro harbors a strong affection for Kyoko, regarding her as the only sane individual residing in the building. He also develops a romantic crush on Ikuko, Kyoko’s niece, though he resents Yusaku’s tendency to compare him to his younger self.
