Born on January 11, 1984, Kaolla Su is a Polynesian immigrant and eighth-grade foreign exchange student who resides at the Hinata-Sou in Hinata Hot Springs. She is an incredibly energetic and inventive youth known for her mischievous antics and her ability to create amazing contraptions on a whim. Acting as the resident inventor of the boarding house, she possesses a warlord-like sensibility and a deep love for turtles. Her room is famously chaotic, resembling a jungle, and she is often seen with her turtle companion, Tama, who is either keeping her company or attempting to eat her, or perhaps singing beneath a red moon.
