Summary
Ika Musume introduces herself as a squid girl and the self-proclaimed Messenger of the Sea. Driven by anger over ocean pollution caused by humans, she initially plotted to conquer the world to take revenge on humanity. However, she quickly realizes she is no match for anyone, largely because she is completely ignorant about the surface world and attempts her conquest entirely alone. Her invasion leads to her crashing through the wall of a beach house, which forces her to take a job there. While working, she gains a deeper understanding of human customs and behavior. Despite her initial goals, she is known for her stubbornness and her insistence that she will eventually succeed in conquering humanity. She has a specific fear of sharks and killer whales, but she loves shrimp. In terms of abilities, she can spew ink at will and utilize her blue hair as functional tentacles.
