Synopsis
Continues the story of The Squid Girl
In a world where human pollution has devastated the oceans and harmed marine life, a single squid decides to take revenge on humanity. Armed with tentacle-like hair, ink expulsion, and bioluminescence, Ika Musume rises from the sea to confront people. She targets the Lemon Beach House, a restaurant run by sisters Eiko and Chizuru Aizawa, believing it to be an easy starting point for global conquest. However, Ika Musume quickly learns that life on land is far different from what she expected, especially after accidentally damaging part of the beach house and being forced to work there as compensation. Defeated by the Aizawa sisters, Ika Musume must temporarily set aside her world domination plans and adapt to her new role as a waitress. Despite the challenges, she gradually finds joy in her surroundings and forms meaningful bonds with those around her. Through her experiences and the support of her growing circle of friends, Ika Musume discovers the value of community and friendship, all while serving squid ink spaghetti and more at the Lemon Beach House. The whimsical and humorous adventures of Shinryaku! Ika Musume chronicle her journey of self-discovery and acceptance.

Yet, her laid-back job as a waitress at the Lemon beach house frequently results in relaxing free time. She also encounters obstacles such as dodging a group of people fixated on aliens and handling a troubled admirer. This follow-up to Shinryaku!? Ika Musume centers on the comedic everyday moments of Ika Musume as she plans her next step against the human world.
