Summary

Shaoran Li is an eleven-to-twelve-year-old boy in the anime and a fourteen-year-old in the manga, born on July 13 with an O blood type. Standing between 140 and 148 centimeters tall, he favors green, Chinese Peonies, and foods like Dim Sum and chocolate, while disliking Mandarin, Japanese classes, and Konnyaku. He excels in Mathematics and Physical education and lives with his mother and four sisters, with his cousin Meilin Li appearing only in the anime adaptation. As a distant relative of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards, Shaoran belongs to the Li clan of sorcerers from Hong Kong, a lineage that included Clow’s mother. Because of this heritage, he firmly believes he is the rightful heir to the Clow Cards rather than Sakura Kinomoto. This conviction leads him to appear as an antagonist who attempts to capture several cards for himself, a plot point present in the anime but omitted from the manga.
