Summary
Shigemori Sumimura serves as the grandfather of Yoshimori and holds the position of the twenty-first head of the Sumimura lineage. He is characterized by a notably fiery and impulsive temperament, earning him the nickname Shige-jii in the Japanese adaptation. As a highly proficient Kekkaishi, his strength is formidable; during a conversation with the powerful Masamori, Shigemori acknowledges that Masamori has grown significantly stronger, to which Masamori humbly replies that he still falls far short of Shigemori's own power.
