Summary
Rika Shiguma is a freshman and a highly capable mad scientist who joined the Neighbor's Club primarily to get closer to Kodaka, whom she saved from unconsciousness during a disastrous lab experiment. In an attempt to repay his kindness, she aggressively offers herself to him sexually. As a devoted fujoshi, she is an enthusiastic consumer of BL dōjinshi and magazines, and she experiences comical arousal from sexual acts involving mecha, showing particular delight when Yukimura suggests having sex with Kodaka. Although the series features many adult themes, Rika stands out as the most sexually forward member. This trait was evident in her first speaking appearance, where she openly discussed the attractions of rape to a stunned class. She habitually inserts sexual innuendos into her sentences, instinctively twisting innocent thoughts into perverted ones and considering this behavior normal. Rika takes pride in her perversion, arguing that she would be a boring person if people viewed her solely as a genius. To further emphasize her eccentricity, she consistently refers to herself in the third person.
