Summary
Known as the Black Cat and serving as the main protagonist of the series, Train Heartnet is a twenty-three-year-old sweeper who stands 175 cm tall and weighs 65 kg. Born on April 13 with type O blood, he is a left-handed gunman who claims to be ambidextrous as a method to suppress his memories, though his accuracy improves when using his dominant left hand. His weapon of choice is Hades, a decorated gun custom-made for him by Chronos. Initially a ruthless assassin, he undergoes a significant transformation, learning compassion through his interactions with Saya Minatsuki. Despite his violent past, he harbors a soft spot for women and children, particularly being unable to stand seeing them cry. He maintains a fondness for milk, seafood, and onigiri. A bell worn around his neck serves as a constant reminder of his former life and potential future; while the manga establishes that he possessed this bell from the beginning, the anime depicts Eve giving it to him based on the fable of the Black Cat. Beyond his combat prowess as a gunman, he possesses the unique ability to fall asleep anywhere at any time.
