Summary
Doubt Doubt (疑わしきは罰せよ（ダウトダウト）) serves as the Servamp of Envy and is typically depicted wearing a long black coat while concealing his face within a paper bag. His Eve is Mikuni Alicein, who refers to him by the nickname Jeje. As the third oldest among the Servamps, little is revealed about his origins, though it is understood that he lived in isolation until All of Love invited him to reside at the Alicein mansion. There, he dwelled in the cellar and remained largely unseen. Mikuni’s mother entered into a contract with him, keeping him confined until Mikuni established a new agreement. It was Mikuni who gave him the name Jeje and manipulated him into murdering their mother. Following this tragedy, Doubt Doubt departed the mansion alongside Mikuni. The pair subsequently joined the organization C3, where they allied with Tsurugi Kamiya. During this time, Jeje appeared to engage in nightly conversations with Tsurugi. Eventually, Jeje and his Eve separated from C3 to pursue their own separate paths. Jeje maintains an extremely calm and quiet demeanor, rarely speaking and often mumbling when he does. He finds solace in building ships in a bottle and prefers solitude. He harbors a deep frustration with Mikuni, who frequently promises him his blood before reneging on the offer. Despite knowing that Mikuni usually refuses when Jeje asks for blood, Jeje remains hopeful and easily swayed by the promise, trusting his Eve even when he expects a rejection.
