Summary
Genko ranks among the supreme masters of "The Other World," standing alongside Ginsei and Ioryogi. He actively assisted Ioryogi in instigating a war to seize "The thing that Ioryogi wanted no matter what" from heaven. Following their defeat for violating the non-aggression pact, the participants received fitting punishments. Ioryogi was cursed to exist in a plushie form and forced to serve Kobato, a task Genko dismisses as unreasonable, impossible, and even more difficult than his own sentence. Genko was transformed into a bear and compelled to run a Baumkuchen shop. Meanwhile, Ginsei was punished by taking on a rabbit-like animal form. Genko does not sympathize with Ioryogi, arguing that Ioryogi is younger and yet does not receive the respect Genko believes he deserves. He also perceives a similarity between his own situation and Ginsei’s.
