Mitaka, Asa
Summary
Asa Mitaka begins as a quiet, unsociable girl who harbors deep resentment toward her classmates, often wishing them dead and rejecting any attempts at friendship in favor of studying. This hostility stems from a traumatic past where her parents were consumed by a Devil, leading her to despise all Devils. However, she eventually comes to understand that her cold exterior masked genuine jealousy of her peers and a desire to belong. Realizing she wants to live more selfishly, Asa comes to crave the things she previously pushed away, including true friends and a boyfriend.
