Summary
Shimoyanagi is a teammate of Sasayan on the baseball squad and harbors a crush on Asako Natsume, though he struggles to communicate with her. Sasayan initially attempts to play matchmaker, but Natsume departs because she finds his laughter unbearable. Sasayan later apologizes to Shimoyanagi after discovering that Natsume has actually fallen in love with Mitsuyoshi. Shimoyanagi is known for his friendly and kind demeanor and owns a pet rat named Gurigura.
