Summary
As one of Keitaro’s childhood friends, Kimiaki typically delights in mocking the protagonist, labeling him a failure in both academics and romance, though he tends to hold back once Keitaro begins to see success. He is frequently seen alongside Haitani and has a primary interest in women, with computer proficiency serving as one of his few redeeming qualities. Of short stature and almost always wearing large round glasses, he is unceremoniously described by Su in the fifth manga volume as a "small, fat, Hobbit." A recurring joke throughout the series involves the girls at the Hinata Inn consistently failing to remember the identities of Shirai and Haitani, despite the pair’s frequent presence among them.
