Summary
Yokochini, referred to as Weasel in the English dub, attends a different high school in Karakura Town than Ichigo Kurosaki and serves as the leader of a local gang. He embodies the archetype of a juvenile delinquent boss who generally avoids physical combat, preferring to delegate violent tasks to his subordinates while relying on their fear and obedience to maintain control. He resents the nickname Yokochini, which his gang continues to use despite his dislike. His composure often cracks when victims do not show the expected fear, particularly if they refuse to fight back as Chad does. Despite this, he can be cunning; for instance, he ordered his thugs to attack Chad before fleeing upon Ichigo’s arrival, allowing him to eavesdrop on their conversation to devise a strategy for harming Chad. However, when confronted directly with violence, he collapses quickly and easily.
