Summary
Josephine is a Japanese raccoon dog, also known as a Tanuki, who serves as the pet of the Arashiyama household. She is described as the sole friend of Ayumu Arashiyama. In the anime adaptation, she appears between chapters accompanied by unrelated quotes, but later on, she begins to feature frequently within the actual story chapters.
