Summary

Hikaru Zaizen is a second-year student in Class 7, numbered 14. Born on July 20th with blood type A, he stands 167cm tall and weighs 57kg. A left-handed individual, he enjoys listening to British Rock and finds his favorite food to be shiratama - white flour dumpling. He is part of the Library Committee and excels in English, while Classics is his weakest subject. His favorite movie is Amelie, and he spends his allowance on CDs and EPs. Known for his motto "a wise man keeps some of his talents in reserve," Hikaru is also an avid blogger and spends his time in the school's audiovisual room. He admires family-oriented girls and enjoys dating at swanky cafes. His most desired item is an audio set, and he is skilled in music composition using a computer. Hikaru joined Shitenhouji as a freshman when the tennis club was struggling to attract new members. Despite the team's efforts to persuade him with humor during practice matches, Hikaru remained unimpressed. However, after a brief match with Shiraishi Kenya and Kojiro, he decided to join the club. Known as the "Prodigy" within the team, Hikaru was initially slated to play Doubles 1 with Oshitari Kenya in the semi-finals against Seigaku. However, Coach Watanabe Osamu intervened, replacing Hikaru with Chitose and forcing Oshitari to sit out. This decision led to tensions within the team, as Hikaru was seen disrespecting Seigaku's Kawamura Takashi and criticizing his teammate Chitose after their loss in Doubles 1.
