Summary
Umanosuke is a formidable figure, distinguished by his large chonmage topknot and a lidless, deformed eye that he conceals with an eye patch. Although he wears a daisho, a sign of his past as a samurai, his primary combat tool is a fearsome and highly destructive kusarigama. His weapon operates differently from standard models; rather than using the chain to entangle foes for a follow-up sickle strike, the chain is housed within the shaft itself. This unique design allows the sickle to slice cleanly through solid materials like wood and rock, a feat Umanosuke executes with immense skill. When retracted, the weapon doubles as an effective scythe for close-quarters combat. Driven by a singular, obsessive motivation, his sole goal in life is to kill Mugen.
