Summary
Kei Tsuchiya is a talented yet troubled pianist who works alongside Miki at the Bobson's ice cream parlor. He develops romantic feelings for Miki and attempts to separate her from Yuu by exploiting a lost medallion bearing Yuu's image to deceive Miki about her true affections. Although this scheme nearly succeeds, it ultimately fails. Yuu, unable to enjoy his trip outside of Tokyo due to missing Miki, and Miki, who forces herself to confront her own flaws, eventually reconcile. Later, a more mature Kei returns to offer Miki sincere and unconditional support as Yuu departs for studies abroad. He clarifies that he does not require Miki to forget Yuu entirely, content to help her through her grief.
