Summary
Sidney Sitolet, whose name is also alternatively spelled Sithole, serves as a Star Fleet Commander and the head of the Combined Forces within the Free Planets Alliance. Operating out of the Strategical Planning Center on Planet Heinessen, the mid-fifties-aged officer is depicted with gray hair. He made his initial appearance during the end credits of the movie "Overture to a New War" and had a brief role in the OAV "Golden Wings." A former academy instructor, Sidney is characterized as a fair and decent man, though his demeanor can be somewhat harsh. He harbors a distinct dislike for his superior, Secretary of Defense Job Truniht. Following the disastrous invasion of the Empire, which spanned episodes 12 through 16, Sitolet chose to retire from active duty.
