Summary

Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta, a hybrid of human and Saiyan heritage, and serves as the older brother to Bulla. During the Majin Buu arc, his childhood persona mirrors his father’s arrogance and stinginess, alongside a mischievous streak. This demeanor stems from his upbringing alongside Vegeta in a time of peace, allowing him to indulge in luxury, which contrasts sharply with the apocalyptic reality faced by Future Trunks. Consequently, Future Trunks developed a far more serious and cautious nature due to the absence of his father and the harsh world he inhabited. Trunks embodies a blend of his parents' traits, combining the pride and cockiness of Vegeta with the spoiled and selfish tendencies of Bulma. As he matures, his personality begins to align more closely with that of his future self. Throughout his battles at the World Martial Arts Tournament, he adopts a demeanor similar to his father’s, remaining calm during combat while frequently insulting his opponents.
