Summary
Referred to as the "Bayern Vampire," Schuwald is a reclusive yet prosperous businessman who uses his wealth to donate his extensive library to the University of Munich. Among those employed by him are university students who read Latin aloud to him. His history includes a son fathered with a prostitute named Margot Langer, who had a friend in Prague that gave birth to twins. During the dedication ceremony for his book donation, Johan orchestrated an attack intended to spread terror and chaos. While authorities suspect Dr. Tenma is responsible for the incident, they believe Schuwald was the true target. He makes his first appearance in Chapter 27.
