Summary
Tsubaki is a fiery male spirit and the sole Shun Shun Rikka capable of launching direct attacks. He frequently lashes out at anyone who irritates him, including Orihime. Because his focus is almost entirely on offense, he is susceptible to counter-attacks and has sustained injuries on multiple occasions. His power scales with Orihime’s anger and killing intent, but her inherently timid nature restricts his maximum strength and has previously led to his harm. At one point, the Espada Yammy Riyalgo destroyed Tsubaki by crushing him into infinitesimal fragments. Orihime was devastated by this loss and, unable to locate the tiny pieces, could not restore him. However, after Tsubaki encountered Hachi, who noted that Orihime’s abilities resembled his own, Hachi managed to restore Tsubaki despite the complete absence of his remains.
