Summary
Maria is a Chasseur who has long endured the prejudice that all Vampires are inherently evil, a belief that has driven her to dedicate her existence to eradicating them in service of her faith. She was recently assigned to work under Roland Fortis, a newcomer to the Parisian branch of the Chasseurs. After discovering Roland being reprimanded within the catacombs beneath Notre Dame alongside her colleague Georges, the trio joins forces to track down Vanitas and his vampiric partner, Noé Archiviste. Surprisingly, the two groups find common ground and agree to collaborate in their pursuit of Moreau, who has been abducting Vampires for his experiments.
