Akihiro Hirata is a third-year science and engineering student at Kansei University who resides in room 104 of Chikuseisou. Standing at 178 cm, he is the tallest member of the Kansei track team. He has chin-length hair tied in a low ponytail and is frequently seen wearing sweatpants. Despite his participation in the team, Nico-chan had prior track experience before quitting because his coach urged him to leave.
