Summary
Kyouko Otonashi is a 22-year-old who serves as the manager of Ikkoku-kan, residing in the on-site manager's quarters. She is currently navigating the difficult process of healing from the loss of her husband, Souichiro-san. This journey involves balancing her desire to preserve his memory with her own evolving emotions and potential connections with others. Her dog shares the name Souichiro-san in honor of her late spouse. Although she remains on her family register, her parents have pressured her to either move back home or remarry. Instead, Kyouko has chosen to stay and work for Grandfather Otonashi, the owner of Ikkoku-kan.
