Nanakusa Nazuna is a vampire born on September 23 who entered into a pact with Kou Yamori to consume his blood. Standing at a petite height, she is only slightly taller than a middle school student. Her demeanor is generally relaxed and laid-back; while she does not project excessive friendliness, she maintains a calm presence in most scenarios. She has a penchant for playing video games, drinking beer, and making risqué jokes. Nazuna is remarkably open about sexual subjects and has no hesitation in discussing them, often using her humor to tease others. Despite this openness, she has a strong aversion to romance and becomes visibly embarrassed whenever the word "love" is used in a romantic context. Visually, Nazuna is originally described as blonde, though the anime adaptation features pale purple hair. In illustrations by Kotoyama, her eye color is inconsistent, appearing as blue, brownish-grey, or occasionally yellow. Professionally, she owns a snooze shop where she assists customers in falling asleep to feed on their blood.
