Summary
Milgasia serves as the leader of the golden dragons who formerly served under the Water Dragon King. When Lina Inverse and her party arrive in the Valley of Dragons, Milgasia intervenes to assist them. He escorts Lina, along with Martina Xoana Mel Navrachoa in the anime adaptation, to meet the genuine Claire Bible, enabling Lina to uncover the truth regarding the Giga Slave. In the novel continuity, Milgasia and his elven companion Mephis briefly travel alongside Lina. Having lived for likely more than a millennium, Milgasia possesses firsthand knowledge of Xellos and the War of the Monster's Fall. Initially, he expresses concern over Lina’s group associating with Xellos. However, after Gourry makes a foolish comment about Xellos's age, Milgasia realizes his worries are unfounded, as the group displays no intimidation toward the ancient being. Milgasia makes his debut in episode 20 of Slayers NEXT, which corresponds to the seventh novel and manga volume.
