WIT Studio Invites Attack on Titan Back to Dinner on August 20

WIT Studio just put Attack on Titan back on the calendar. On Thursday the Production I.G. spin-off posted a new illustration of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Erwin, and Hange seated like a squad that never quite disbanded, then dated an information drop for August 20. The caption is a riddle: during "that period," they are said to be hosting a special dinner.

The tease comes from the house that built seasons 1–3, not the one that finished the war. WIT handed The Final Season to MAPPA so Hajime Isayama's saga could actually close — a split president George Wada has since called the only combination that could complete the television run. In a 15th-year interview circulating this week, Wada said the production's weight was crushing, that the company even weighed shutting its doors afterward, and that SPY×FAMILY later pulled the floor back under them.

That history is why a dinner invitation from WIT lands harder than another merch drop. Year 15 has the studio pushing originals such as LONA and a from-chapter-one THE ONE PIECE reboot, even as its own shop still prints new Titan goods. Whether August 20 is a project, a reunion, or simply another table set for fans, the house that left the Walls is the one calling everyone back.
