Overgeared Adds Extra Cast, Dual Themes, and October 2 Premiere

The official site for Overgeared — Japan-titled Tempal: Item no Chikara — dropped a second key visual, a second promotional video, six new voices, and both theme songs on Wednesday, pinning J.C.STAFF's VRMMORPG adaptation to a Friday 11:30 p.m. slot on Tokyo MX and BS11 from October 2. Crunchyroll will stream the series internationally.

Riho Sugiyama joins as sniper Jishuka, with Masaaki Mizunaka as Tovan, Kou Bonkobara as Regas, Masaya Fukunishi as tank Vantner, Kouhei Amasaki as Pon, and Shunichi Toki as assassin Faker. They fill out the Tzedakah-adjacent circle around Tatsumaru Tachibana's Grid — the debt-burdened blacksmith who inherits a legendary class in the game Satisfy — and Asami Seto's Yura.

Osaka trio Re:name handles the opening "SATISFY," named after the in-world MMO and previewed in the new promo, while virtual singer TAO closes episodes with "Ray of Emotion." Ayako Kono directs at J.C.STAFF, with Kenta Ihara on series composition, Ryousuke Tanigawa on character design, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa on the score.

Tickets also went on sale for a September 13 advance screening of episodes 1–3 at Ikebukuro Humax Cinemas, with Tachibana, Seto, and Sugiyama booked for a post-screening talk. The anime adapts Saenal Park and Team Argo's long-running REDICE Studio webtoon, whose print editions continue through Yen Press's Ize Press imprint.
