Studio DEEN Staffs Multi-Mind Mayhem, Drops First PV for January 2027

Studio DEEN is locking in its Winter 2027 slate. The long-running house has been confirmed as animation production for the TV adaptation of Ryousen Takami’s isekai light novel Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki, and Friday’s drop finally puts a full creative team, first key visual, and debut promo video on the board for a January 2027 start.
Hiroaki Sakurai (Di Gi Charat) will direct, with Keiichirō Ōchi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) on series composition. Character designs come from Zenjirō Ukulele, working from original animation designs by Hajime Watanabe, while Ryoshi Takagi handles the score—a classic DEEN-style staff package for a high-concept fantasy climb.
The story follows noble heir Bard Cornelius, whose body hosts three minds at once: his own, a battle-hardened warlord, and a modern otaku. That “noble × warrior × nerd” trinity drives his rise through kingdom politics and war. Yusuke Kobayashi headlines as Bard, joined by newly revealed voices including Yukari Anzai as Seilune, Takashi Matsuyama and Keishi Inomata as the Oka duo, Ayasa Itō as Selina, and Sumire Morohoshi as Silke.
AlphaPolis’s hit series (novels illustrated by Ririnra, manga by Honoji) already cleared seven figures in print; DEEN’s first look suggests the studio is treating the adaptation as a proper flagship fantasy rather than a quiet background job. Official site and X updates went live alongside the PV.
