Seven Seas Scoops Seven Fresh Manga Licenses for 2027

English-language publisher Seven Seas Entertainment dropped a full licensing wave on Wednesday, claiming seven new manga series that will start hitting shelves in early 2027. The haul swings hard across genres: post-blackout magic crafting, dungeon livestream isekai, berserker NPCs, vampire destiny arcs, and one very oversized housecat.

The critical standout is The Kaiju Autopsy by Mado Saitō—a two-volume seinen thriller about scientist Honda Akira dissecting a colossal monster corpse that may not be fully dead. Fresh off a Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize New Creator win and strong showings in Kono Manga ga Sugoi! and the Manga Taishō, it is set for a May 2027 English debut and is already one of the year’s most talked-about science-fiction picks.

Also joining the catalog: Wandmaker of the Ruined World, in which a reclusive inventor turns a fallen meteor into a magic wand after a global blackout; Influencer Hero, following a demon-lord-slayer who monetizes real-world dungeons via livestreams; The Berserker NPC Unknowingly Destroys the World; Suu Minazuki’s vampire-action title The Moon Cries at the Final Wish; the cozy-power fantasy My House Cat Became the World’s Strongest?!; and the yuri academy thriller It’s a Secret, Shirotae-sama.

Most first volumes are currently slotted for February through May 2027. For shelf-hunters who track every isekai livestream and every autopsy of something that should stay buried, Seven Seas just filled the calendar.
