Dark Machine: The Animation Drafts Four New Voices Onto October's Battle Grid

Fall 2026's original esports mecha Dark Machine: The Animation just filled out its rival benches. The official site posted a second promotional video this week with four new voice credits, and locked an October premiere on Fuji TV at 1:45 a.m., with Kansai TV and BS Fuji close behind.

Ryunosuke Watanuki and Jun Kousaka will voice Nyudo and Hachiman of GREAT CLUSTER, the squad standing opposite protagonist Kairi's CARBUNCLE. Minori Suzuki and Rikuya Yasuda step in as Bianca and Weiss of Team Esmeralda. They join a lead lineup already headed by Kensho Ono as Kairi, Miyuki Sawashiro as Rudora, Koki Uchiyama as Shinn, and Yuichi Nakamura as Golden Valley's seventh Sengi, Ajima.

The new promo also previews the opening theme "Sonzai Riyuu Kai" from veteran rock band BUCK∞TICK, while SUGIZO is scoring the series — a pairing he has called one of his most personal projects. Kazumi Terada directs at Production +h., with the writing collective Team Carbuncle on series composition and Code Geass veteran Goro Taniguchi credited as creative producer.

The story is set in Golden Valley, Japan's only Dark Machine special economic zone, where the world's dominant mech circuit has rewritten the local economy. Kairi arrives on his late grandfather's last request, collides with Rudora, and logs into a city already owned by its strongest player.
