Prisma☆Illya Unveils Second Teaser Visual as Finale Locks 2027 TV Run

Magical-girl Fate fans finally have a hard date to circle. On Monday, the official Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya portal dropped a second teaser visual for the long-awaited sequel, now titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya Finale, and confirmed the series will hit Japanese TV in 2027 as the franchise’s last bow.
Character designer Kazuya Hirata supplied the new key art, while Silver Link. keeps the pen for animation. Ken Takahashi returns to direct with Shin Oonuma as chief director, and series composers Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase stay on board. The core cast is intact: Mai Kadowaki as Illyasviel von Einzbern, Kaori Nazuka as Miyu Edelfelt, Chiwa Saito as Chloe von Einzbern, plus Sumire Morohoshi, Natsuki Hanae, and Katsuyuki Konishi as the Ainsworths.
The project caps more than a decade of kaleidoscope chaos that began with the 2013 TV series and later theatrical entries such as Vow in the Snow and Licht Nameless Girl. Hiroshi Hiroyama’s Comp Ace manga still supplies the road map, and Finale is billed as the chapter that closes Illya, Miyu, and Chloe’s fight to save a dying world.
No episode count or network slot has been named yet, but after years of quiet production updates, a 2027 window and fresh visual are the clearest signal yet that the Class Cards’ final fight is truly on the calendar.
