KonoSuba Season 4 Locks 2027 Debut, ENGI & Returning Core Staff

The dysfunctional party is marching into another year of chaos. At the KonoSuba anime’s 10th-anniversary event “Colorful,” organizers confirmed that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 4 will hit Japanese TV in 2027, dropping an “ultra teaser visual” of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness from behind under the tagline “Let’s set out on a new adventure.”
Production is shifting to ENGI, after Studio DEEN handled the first two seasons, Drive took Season 3 and the Megumin spin-off, and J.C.Staff animated the Legend of Crimson film. Takaomi Kanasaki returns as chief director, with Manabu Kurihara (The Detective Is Already Dead) as series director. Longtime pillars Makoto Uezu (series composition) and Koichi Kikuta (character design) are back, joined again by sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami and composer Masato Kōda.
The main quartet’s voices are unchanged: Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, and Ai Kayano as Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness, with supporting regulars including Yui Horie (Wiz), Masakazu Nishida (Vanir), and Aki Toyosaki (Yunyun). The anniversary also rolled out a commemorative PV featuring a fresh arrangement of Machico’s Season 1 opener “fantastic dreamer.”
With the light novels still feeding years of material and the party’s reputation for glorious failure intact, 2027 looks set to dump more blessings—and explosions—on this wonderful world.
