J.C.Staff Locks Oct. 3 for Marronnier Kingdom With First PV & Full Knight Cast

Veteran animation house J.C.Staff just put a hard date on its next big romance fantasy. The official site for The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom—Nao Iwamoto’s long-running josei manga from Monthly Flowers—dropped the first promotional video, a castle-side key visual of the seven brothers, and a locked premiere: October 3 at 6:25 p.m. on NHK E-Tele.

Production sits firmly with J.C.Staff under director Kiyoko Sayama (To Your Eternity Season 2), with Shinzou Fujita on series composition, Yuriko Maeda designing the characters, Jin Aketagawa directing sound, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa scoring the score. It’s a classic studio package: experienced hands, clear hierarchy, and a fall slot already carved on public broadcaster NHK.

The seven knight brothers finally have voices—Kengo Takanashi as Nemukunai (Insomniac), Makoto Tanikawa as Hakuai (Fraternity), Haruki Ishiya as Atsugariya (Feverish), Satoshi Inomata as Samugariya (Chilly), Kiyoto Mizuno as Kemonotsukai (Beast Tamer), Taishi Murata as Kenjiman (Sword Pride), and Reiji Kawashima as Harapeko (Hungry). Their mother, General Baribara, is Akeno Watanabe, with legendary narrator Show Hayami framing the tale.

The story sends the landlocked Marronnier Kingdom’s mismatched sons out as ambassadors to seven neighboring realms—each chasing the dream of heroically rescuing a princess. With J.C.Staff’s PV and cast now public, the fall production pipeline looks locked and ready for diplomatic mayhem.
