Hell Mode Season 2 Casts Rosenheim Voices as Elf Front Opens

The official site for Hell Mode Season 2 has thrown the doors open on the Rosenheim arc, pairing a new key visual with two rounds of voice reveals as Hamuo's hardcore isekai leaves the academy and marches toward an elf kingdom already under siege.

On August 12 the production named the first quartet walking into Episode 19. Setsuji Sato voices Rosen, the flying-squirrel Spirit King who watches over the realm; Ayumi Tsunematsu is Queen Lenoatir, mother of Princess Sophialone and a ruler willing to stand on the front line; Takehito Koyasu arrives as Rezel, the Demon God heading a three-million-strong invasion; and Shotaro Morikubo plays Kyubel, a clown-faced high commander who treats the war like a chessboard.

A second slate landed on August 14. Yuki Sanpei, Yasuyuki Kase, and Ko Bonkobara join as Rosenheim's marshal Sigur, great general Lukidral, and freewheeling spirit-user Gatoruga. On the opposing side, Satoshi Tsuruoka, Takaaki Torashima, and Shinya Takahashi voice the occupying demons Glaster, Nefthira, and Yagov, now dug into a fortress seized from the elves.

Episode 19, To Rosenheim, sends Allen's party toward the elf nation after the Demon King's army moves to shatter cooperation between continents. They reach the refugee town of Nest and learn Lenoatir is already fighting at Tiamo. Yokohama Animation Lab is animating the season under director Masato Tamagawa, with Daishiro Tanimura on series composition; HIDIVE is carrying the simulcast for Sentai Filmworks.

Season 2 began July 3 on Tokyo MX and partner stations. Hamuo's light novel, illustrated by Mo for Earth Star Novel, reached volume 14 in July, and Enji Tetta's manga adaptation is keeping pace on Comic Earth Star.
