Ghibli's First U.S. Pop-Up Store Opens with 400+ Exclusive Treasures

Fans no longer have to fly to Japan to browse the full Donguri Republic experience. The specialist retailer for Studio Ghibli goods has opened its first-ever U.S. pop-up inside Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, bringing more than 400 officially licensed items inspired by the studio's classic films.
The space recreates the warm, storybook atmosphere fans know from Japan, complete with wood-inspired interiors, whimsical displays, and a larger-than-life Totoro figure waiting at a bus stop for the Catbus. Custom artwork featuring Mei and Little Totoro greets visitors at the entrance, turning the shop into a photo-friendly slice of Ghibli magic.
Shoppers can expect plushies, accessories, home goods, and collectibles spanning My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, The Boy and the Heron, and many more titles. To celebrate the launch, anyone spending $100 or more receives a limited-edition Los Angeles-branded tote bag while supplies last. Ghibli Fest 2026 movie ticket holders can also claim special film-strip bookmarks with qualifying purchases.
The pop-up runs through December 31 with regular mall hours and marks a major step for the beloved brand in North America. Whether you're hunting rare items or simply stepping into the forest for a moment, this limited window offers something genuinely special for Ghibli devotees on this side of the Pacific.
