The laid-back isekai wave just picked up another sequel. On Saturday, July 4, the production team behind Chillin' in Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers confirmed that Flio's story is heading back to television for a second season, capping a busy weekend of renewal announcements across the genre.

Alongside the news, the official site dropped a teaser promotional video stitching together highlights from the 2024 debut run, plus a fresh key visual spotlighting Fenrys flashing a cheerful peace sign. Light-novel illustrator Katagiri and manga artist Akine Itomachi also contributed celebratory artwork to mark the occasion, giving fans multiple looks at the cast before any concrete premiere window is set.

Original author Miya Kinojo thanked supporters and collaborators in a statement tied to the reveal, noting that Season 2 will widen the canvas with new characters while keeping Flio and Fenrys at the emotional center of the story. She hinted that the golden-haired hero — a standout figure from the first cour — may have even more screen time ahead, suggesting the sequel will lean into both the series' domestic warmth and its sharper comedic edges.

The first season ran for 12 episodes from April through June 2024 under director Yoshiaki Iwasaki at J.C.STAFF, with Satoshi Hino leading a deep voice cast that includes Rie Kugimiya as Fenrys. Crunchyroll currently streams the series worldwide alongside an English dub. No broadcast date has been announced yet for the follow-up, but with teaser assets already live, the Flio household's return is officially on the calendar.
