The production committee behind the popular sports romance Blue Box has officially confirmed a second season, continuing the story of Taiki Inomata's pursuit of both basketball excellence and the girl who inspires him to reach higher.

A brand-new key visual was released with the announcement, framing Taiki and Chinatsu Kano in a quiet, emotionally charged moment inside the gymnasium that has become the emotional core of the series.

Director Yuma Takahashi and series composer Yuko Kakihara are returning alongside the rest of the main staff, keeping the adaptation's careful balance between intense sports action and the tender, realistic growth of its central relationship.
