The land has been devastated by a brutal conflict, and now, nourished by the lifeblood of countless slain soldiers, the Yoma—demonic entities from the underworld—rise again. A lone ninja attempts to halt the slaughter these monsters bring to mankind, yet to succeed, he must confront his reanimated former closest friend, another ninja who fell in combat and was brought back to serve the Yoma.

Each episode centers on Fukuzou Moguro, a wandering salesman, and the customer he is currently serving. Moguro trades in items that fulfill his clients' deepest wishes, and once these transactions are completed—satisfying their twisted cravings—his customers frequently face severe consequences, particularly if they violate the terms of his agreements.
