Synopsis

Makoto Kubota lived without much concern for deep thought or serious ambition. As the leader of a youth gang under the Izumo Group, his days were filled with yakuza disputes, mahjong games, and killings. His existence was upended when he accidentally discovered a mysterious substance called Wild Adapter—a drug that brought unpredictable and often deadly effects. This encounter forever changed Makoto’s direction, leading him to forge an unusual partnership with a homeless man named Minoru Tokito. Together, they become more deeply drawn into the enigma of Wild Adapter.
