Continues the story of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled - The Wyvern Arrives
In 2017, the Holy Britannian Empire is steadily taking over Europe. To counter the empire's overwhelming military strength while minimizing their own losses, the European army forms a specialized squad called Wyvern, also designated W-0, made up of former Japanese citizens—people the Britannians refer to as "Elevens." These youths, recruited from destitute circumstances, pilot Knightmare Frames, the humanoid battle machines, on high-risk missions in exchange for a chance at recognition. When a European regiment becomes trapped and surrounded by enemy forces, Wyvern is deployed for a rescue operation. Among the pilots chosen for the extraction is Lieutenant Akito Hyuuga, known as "Hannibal's Ghost" for his exceptional combat skill. But the mission turns into a suicide charge when the commanding officer triggers the self-destruct sequence on the Knightmares, aiming to deal massive damage to the Britannian troops. In the aftermath of the devastation, Akito emerges as the only one left alive.

Following her earlier victories, Leila Malcal has risen to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and now commands W-0. After stopping a plot to abduct the General of the European army, she brings the three would-be kidnappers into her unit to fill the gaps in W-0's pilot roster. Ayano Kosaka, Yukiya Naruse, and their leader Ryou Sayama accept the offer, seeking a place where they truly belong. When the order comes for a commando raid that requires dropping behind enemy lines, Leila chooses to accompany them in order to keep casualties to a minimum. As the squad throws itself into battle, Akito is overtaken by an insatiable urge for bloodshed, cutting down anyone who crosses his path. Unbeknownst to him, he is about to confront the individual who laid this violent curse upon him—a person he knows all too well...
