Synopsis

In the alternate realm of Magano, malevolent contaminants called Kegare spread unchecked, necessitating the intervention of exorcists to purify the land. Benio Adashino, a celebrated exorcist, is summoned to Tokyo by the Exorcist Union. During her journey, she unexpectedly encounters Rokuro Enmadou, a young exorcist burdened by a troubled history. Despite the persistent threats of Magano, chaos erupts when a Kegare abducts several children. Benio immediately rushes to their rescue, inadvertently pulling Rokuro into the fray. As defeat nears, Rokuro intervenes, displaying abilities that match Benio's own. Sousei no Onmyouji chronicles the adventures of these two extraordinary exorcists, destined to become the "Twin Star Exorcists." Prophecy foretells they will be the parents of the Miko, the reincarnation of Abe no Seimei, who will eventually cleanse the world of all impurities.
