Synopsis
In Death Parade, while most souls are dispatched to either Heaven or Hell, a rare few arrive at Quindecim, a bar designed for pairs who perished at the same moment. Managed by the enigmatic judge Decim, this venue compels these souls to engage in high-stakes games that decide their fate: reincarnation or total erasure. Through activities ranging from darts and bowling to combat simulations, the true nature of each participant is laid bare as they wager their very existence. However, Decim's unyielding sense of judgment is shaken when a black-haired amnesiac appears, prompting him to reconsider the validity of his previous rulings.
Background
Death Parade spawned from the short film Death Billiards, which was part of the Young Animator Training Project's Anime Mirai 2013.
