Synopsis

In the face of relentless adversity, Miyo Saimori has lived a life marked by sorrow. The daughter of a loveless union, she was abandoned following her mother’s death and subsequently relegated to servitude by her father and his new wife, who doted on Miyo’s younger half-sister, Kaya. Devoid of any resistance against her plight, Miyo had resigned herself to a bleak future. However, her circumstances suddenly shift when her father summons her with an unexpected revelation: she is to wed Kiyoka Kudou, the esteemed leader of the distinguished Kudou household. Despite Kiyoka’s elevated social standing, rumors depict him as an aloof individual who has sent away each of his prior betrotheds. Upon arriving at the Kudou estate, Miyo anticipates mistreatment and rejection. Instead, she finds that Kiyoka extends to her the affection and compassion she has always lacked. This union might offer Miyo the sole opportunity to break free from her oppressive past and discover the happiness that has eluded her.
