Continues the story of 3-pun de Wakaru Koizumi Yakumo no Kaidan
This anthology draws from Patrick Lafcadio Hearn's work "Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Things." In Japan, he is known as Koizumi Yakumo, the Greek-American writer famous for collecting and sharing stories from Japanese folklore and legends. These brief tales were created to promote tourism in Matsue City, where Hearn taught, lived, and got married. His former residence is now a museum that visitors can explore.
In this installment
In partnership with Eagle Talon, the collaborative anime project Heisei Matsue Kaidan is set in Matsue City. The series tells contemporary ghost stories from the city, with each episode narrated by a different storyteller. Every episode promotes the Patrick Lafcadio Hearn's Ghost Tour operated by Matsue, and some installments also include biographical segments about the Matsue Kankou Taishi Sanri ga Iku! Matsue Ghost Tour group.
