Synopsis

Continues the story of Heisei Matsue Kaidan

In partnership with Eagle Talon, the collaborative anime project Heisei Matsue Kaidan is set in Matsue City. The series tells contemporary ghost stories from the city, with each episode narrated by a different storyteller. Every episode promotes the Patrick Lafcadio Hearn's Ghost Tour operated by Matsue, and some installments also include biographical segments about the Matsue Kankou Taishi Sanri ga Iku! Matsue Ghost Tour group.

Heisei Matsue Kaidan: Ayashi is a joint anime project created by Matsue City and Eagle Talon. The series features Yoshida as the narrator, who appears at the start and end of every episode. Within this structure, a variety of horror stories—spanning from contemporary to historical—are presented, all based on the folklore of Matsue City.
